I am new to coding and i wanted to start Java, after seeing some videos, it told me to download eclipse. Whenever I would open it though, it would say "Failed to create the Java Virtual Machine." I am on Mac OS X. If you need me to clarify anything, please ask me for I am new to this.

Did you install a JDK? Which JDK? It seems that on Mac AdoptJDK's latest 11 and latest 14 don't work well.

I uninstalled jdk-14, jdk-15, jdk-16 and leaved jdk-8u and it works!
I read so many forums and answers. They are all complicated. This one is the best. Easy and works.
