I have Eclipse 2018-12 on my macbook air.
I'm attempting to update it to the latest version.
I went to Eclipse tool bar> Preferences > Install/Update > Uninstall or update > Installed software
Unfortunately there are no options to update Eclipse on my mac. I considered installing the latest version on Eclipse website and unzipping it. I'm afraid it will corrupt my current Eclipse version.
I tried googling but the results on how to update my Eclipse were for Windows.
https://wiki.eclipse.org/FAQ_How_do_I_upgrade_Eclipse_IDE%3F

The version and build I am using for Eclipse is:

Eclipse IDE for Java Developers 2018-12
Version: 2018-12 (4.10.0)
Build id: 20181214-0600

Screenshots attached
Please help me. Thank you

Those instructions aren't specific to Windows. You just need to add the update site URL https://download.eclipse.org/releases/2019-12/ as described in the wiki; expand the Install/Update to get to the Available Update sites section.

Also, downloading a new DMG and putting in a new location will not break your existing application. This way you can make sure it works before you update to it.
