Chart errors when x value within one month [message #1822314]

We upgraded to version 4.8 and now our charts error out when the x-value is based on a datetime field grouped by month and when the selection criteria range is within a single month.

Also, when designing the chart when I selected the date field for the x-value the design preview screen goes blank.

The chart works fine when the date range spans more than one month and there is data for each month.

Any help would be appreciated.

I figured out the issue.

When I converted the datetime field to a date field the chart worked with no issues. Funny that the grouping data type option is datetime, not date.
