Hi

I am just starting with eclipse and pyDev. I installed Eclipse IDE for Eclipse Committers Version: 2019-12 (4.14.0) Build id: 20191212-1212

I also installed pydev. thru pydev website but when I restart Eclipse and try to make new project pyDev doesn't show up. I get a Java project.

Any help can be provided?

Does the Open Perspective button (near the upper right) have Python/Pydev perspective? There really nothing Pydev related in New -> Project...? You should look to http://www.pydev.org/ for help specific to that technology.
