How to make a cloned c++/pydev editor tab appear right after the current tab [message #1822066] Wed, 26 February 2020 09:17
Eclipse UserFriend
In preferences General>Keys it is possible to define a shortcut for 'Clone Editor' command e.g. 'In Windows' scope.

But when the shortcut is invoked e.g. in c++ perspective then the new cloned tab appears at the end of the list of other tabs.

It would be very useful for me to make it open right after the current tab.
Is there a way of doing that ?

Of course I can latter drag the new tab and place it where I want (or find it via drop down list ctrl+e) but that's waste of time.

Thanks,
