Hi,

Not exactly a newcomer but not sure where to ask this...
How can I re-open a bugzilla?

The concrete case is https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=491737
which was closed by the Eclipse Genie due to inactivity.

However, the problem still exists and I added more details on how to reproduce it.

The Eclipse Genie also posted that one should re-open the bug if one had more info, but how?

Thanks,
Fredrik

You must of course be logged in with your account. Then on the Status: where it says "CLOSED" you can use the dropdown to change it to REOPENED. Also, remove the "stalebug" from Whiteboard: field so that it's not auto closed again. Then do the submit.

It turns out that I wasn't allowed to reopen the bug since I'm not the original reporter (nor having the extra permissions required). Luckily enough I could ask the reporter to do it ;)

Mission completed.

Thanks!
