Hi all,

Pbs using e4 and org.eclipse.rap.ui. In this case the icons are not visible!!!!
To reproduce the pb it's very simple:

1- Download the project org.eclipse.rap.e4.demo from here:
2- Run it you can see the icons for the different parts and items.
3-Add the bundle org.eclipse.rap.ui (this bundle need also org.eclipse.rap.ui.workbench) using the run configuration tool.
4-Run again the project: The icons disappear!!!!

Why? Have you an idea how we can solve the problem?

Why to add these bundles? Because to use GEF in a e4 application you need to add the bundle org.eclipse.rap.ui, and in this case there is no more icons......

Hi,

you should not mixed bundles from e4 and e3 target. RAP explicitly provides target platforms for different workbench models.

Thanks a lot for your answer.

If I understand well, this means that it's impossible to use GEF in a RAP application using in the same time the e4 model (forexample for UI or for data model)?

Do you know a way to have this 2 things in a RAP application (because GEF5 is based on JavaFX which is not supported by RAP)?
