Hi everyone, I'm new to this forum and I hope I have selected the right section.

I implemented the "Eclipse Paho MQTT" protocol in my app and wanted to ask if there is a limit of simultaneous connections and if there should be, what is the maximum number of users?

I'm not sure that project's preferred communication mechanism for user questions. Look in the community dropdown menu of their site:

https://www.eclipse.org/paho/

It seems unlikely that they will see your positing here and I don't know the answer.
