Hi

I've setup JBoss (4.2) to use certificates and run over https on port
8443 and I've tested I can bring up the JBoss console in Firefox using
my browser certificate.

I've tried to get Eclipse to deploy to the JBoss server and then startup
JBoss. The deploy works fine and the Eclipse console reports that JBoss
has started but Eclipse continues in 'starting..' state until it times
out. During this time the deployed application is accessible in Firefox.

In the Eclipse server configuration I've setup the address to be
127.0.0.1, port = 8443, JNDI = 1099, server configuration = default.
I've checked the JBoss default config and it is using these port
numbers. I've also got Eclipse to successfully bind to JBoss over HTTP
using port 8080 and the same remaining settings.

Any ideas why Eclipse won't bind to JBoss when HTTPS is used?

Thanks,
Dave
