Difference between "Resource filter" and "Exclude from build"? [message #1808579] Thu, 27 June 2019 03:19 Go to next message

I am using Renesas IDE (Eclipse SDK 4.7.3, CDT 9.4.3)
I don't understand the purpose of "Resource Filter". Does it mean that, if a file or folder is "filtered", then it won't be include in build?

If yes, then how is this different from "Resource Configurations -> Exclude from Build"?
