After a "successful" file renaming operation I find the files have been removed from their original location and found them, intact, here "C:\Users\John\eclipse-workspace\RenameFiles". The files in question are either .jpg's or .nef. The files were originally in various sub-directories on the "N" drive. The java code was being run in debug mode out if this IDE
.Eclipse IDE for Java Developers
Version: 2019-06 (4.12.0)
Build id: 20190614-1200
OS: Windows 10, v.10.0, x86_64 / win32
Java version: 1.8.0_212

This code will be run on a bank of some 14,000 files in various directories so having them all in one, obscure, directory is not particularly desirable. I would appreciate any suggestions.
