Hello Everyone,

I am trying to display dates in excel report. the format to be displayed in MMM dd yyyy for both English and French(Canada). In report the desired date format is displaying but not as a date filed, it is displaying as a text field. due to this I am unable to format the those columns in excel.

I am using ExcelEmitters for this. Can you please help me in displaying those excel cell as date fields with format MMM dd yyyy.

Ex:
For English: NOV 15 2018 (should be date but displaying as text)
For French: nov. 15 2018 ((should be date but displaying as text)

I have attached the file generated excel report.

Similarly I am facing the similar issue with number types like currency amount. after formatting with locale they are displaying as text but expecting number types.

Ex: If we double click on the dates then currency symbol should vanish in case of number types but due to text types unable to do further formatting
For English: $(10,000.00)
For French: $(10 000,00)

Can anyone please help me in displaying those fields as Date/Number fields other than text fields in Excel report.
