Hi Waheed,
UML Designer [1] is based on Sirius and on the EMF-based implementation of the Unified Modeling Language (UML) 2.x OMG metamodel for the Eclipse platform.

Is it possible to export Sirius models to UML Designer? Or do I need to write a model transformation?
It depends on what you call "Sirius models" :
* if your domain models are already UML2 models made with the implementation for the Eclipse platform, you can directly use them in UML Designer, then either you keep your .aird and activate the Viewpoints provided by UML Designer (you might even install UML designer in your IDE and use both modelers on the same models) or you create new modeling projects. In both case you will create a new set of Diagrams/Tables specific to UML Designer.
* If your domain models are based on another EMF-BAsed metamodel, you will need a model transformation to obtain a UML2 model from your domain model.
