So I wanted to get into java-Programming a little more, and since I have some previous expierience with eclipse, I figured I would use it.
I installed both the Java JDK 8.201 and JRE 8.201, without changing their default installation location. I went to modifying the Path Variable of my System (I am running Win10) and put in the following:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jdk_1.8_201\bin
C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre_1.8_201\bin
I checked in the CMD if my PC would recognise them by typing "java" and "javac", and for both, it showed me their commands.

But when I then ran the Oomph installer it redirected me to here:
https://download.eclipse.org/oomph/jre/index-handler.php?vm=1_1_7_0_64_0&pn=Eclipse%20Installer&pu=http://wiki.eclipse.org/Eclipse_Installer&pi=http://download.eclipse.org/oomph/jre/128x128.png

If you need anymore information about my issue, feel free to ask.
I thank you sincerely for trying to help me.

The location of your Java installation makes it clear you installed a 32 bit version of Java. But you downloaded the 64 bit version of the installer. I would highly recommend you install the latest 64 bit version of Java 8 because that version can run any older and newer version of the installer and any older and newer version of the Eclipse applications you install.

So, on this site: https://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/jre8-downloads-2133155.html
I have to download "jre-8u201-windows-x64.exe" instead of "jre-8u201-windows-i586.exe" ?
