Code Map Ruler? [message #1801727] Fri, 25 January 2019 05:57 Go to next message

Hi,

I've embedded Orion Editor by following these instructions and it looks and works great!

http://planetorion.org/news/2013/02/embed-the-latest-orion-editor-in-your-code-in-2-steps/

Now, I want to show the Code Map Ruler.

What is it (plugin?, etc) and where can it be found?

I've searched for "code map" and similar in the code without much success.

Thanks,
Pablo.

I meant showZoomRuler instead of "code map ruler". It seems like OrionHub uses its own nomenclature...

I'm able to run the

/examples/editor/demo.html

from my test environment and show and hide the zoom ruler from there.

However, it looks like the property "showZoomRuler" does not work with

/built-editor.js

nor

/orion/editor/edit.js

I've even modified the sources to ensure that "true" value is set to avoid any configuration issue.

I also ran the

/orion/compare/examples/demo.html

to compare files. It works fine. However, once again the

/built-compare.js

does not work (The "Compare" parameter is always undefined). Just the same happens when

/orion/compare/examples/standalone/demo.html

is executed.

IMHO, someone at this project should check whether the documentation and all the examples really work as described.

Many parts work. But others.....
