As I heard, Java for commercial use is not free anymore... though I'm not able to find what does that exactly mean.

Let's get into a scneario:

I develop a paid desktop app on my laptop that uses Java SE. Every copy of that app connects to a server that also runs my app with Java SE.

Now what? Does every copy (customer) count for the $2.50/month, or it's just for the development machines? (In this case my laptop and probably the server)

This is not really the best forum to task because this forum is for asking questions about Eclipse's Java Development Tools, while this question is a legal question about Oracle's terms of use for the JREs it distributes. It's best to ask a lawyer...
