This issue is only seen with custom tool tip and not seen in Win -7. In win-10 when we traverse from one view to another view or rather change perspective quite frequently the toot-tips start getting disposed in no time. Some times it does not show up at all. Tooltip.No_Recreate is been used and hide delay is set to default 0 . The below flow chart explains it -
The main cause or way to reproduce the issue is change of perspective. When we traverse from view-A to View-B or to some other View. Once the tooltips start disposing quickly in any of the view , it behaves the same way in all the views.
Below are the scenarios where this issues will and will not occur - * View-A (tooltips are working fine) --------------> View-B(Flickering Tooltip) -------->Any view (issue is reproducible)
I assume there is no flaw the way we set the tooltip for tree element , because the same works perfectly in Windows -7 devices.
I want to understand what should be the real cause behind it and which part of RCP is explicitly dependent on Windows version.
