Forte Runtime status resume from exception [message #1800364] Tue, 25 December 2018 21:27 Go to next message

hi,

Currently we are use forte to do some process control, however we face an issue that if system shutdown with some exception(for example: power off),

how do we recovery the data, or in another way, how do we resume from last status.

Is there any suggestion for persistent variable?

Looking forward your kindly reply.

Thank you.

Hi,

unfortunately IEC 61499 doesn't directly have anything in its definition about this.

The only tip I could give you is to have dedicated SIFBs for storing and reading such status data. Depending on the kind of data this could even be combined with the FBs interacting with the OPC UA interface.

I hope this helps,
Alois
