I have been tasked with evaluating the potential efficacy of using Jubula to test GUI outputs on a CentOS 7 or a Red Hat box. On the face of it, it looks to be ideal. However, I can't get ANY tutorial for it to work, or even on a Windows 10 box as a proof of concept.

I have searched the manual and the forums, and no useful answers are forthcoming.

Would someone please point me to where I can find a tutorial where the example actually works? If there was a Jubula For Dummies, I would have bought it.

From what I've read thus far, is there some sort of weird reliance on using Oracle? One thing I know for certain, is that I cannot use Oracle for this project.

If I could get just ONE example to work, I would be at least temporarily happy.

We are delivering some examples with the Standalone version of Jubula[1]. They are located in the examples directory(and also the project for these)[2].
We have no real reliance on using oracle. Test should also work with other java.

What kind of Java Application you want to try. Which UI Toolkit like Swing,JavaFX oder RCP/SWT? This is the most important part that you must know about the application[3]. Afters this it should be easy to create a AUT configuration and write a little Test.

best regards
