add project nature filter for "Project References" list for a given project nature [message #334828] |

Hello,
I am interested to add a filter that will discard all unwanted project
natures in the "Project References" page for a given project nature.
This will unclutter the page when having many projects of different
natures in the workspace.
For example: The user in my RCP application can create five different
types of projects and reference any types of projects in the workspace.
However, only when a project of nature "A" references projects of nature
"B" will something be interpreted in my plug-is. Projects of nature "C",
"D" and "E" are unneeded as being referenced by project of nature "A",
so I when the user sees the "Project References" screen for project of
nature "A", the list should display only projects of nature "B".
Is this supported by the Eclipse platform as if so, what would be the
extension points I could contribute to ?
Thanks,
Mircea

I added this as a feature request to bugzilla:
