I have project that I am using xcore to maintain the model and after upgrading to xtext 2.15.0 other projects can not resolve the references with build via Gradle. When loading the workspace in eclipse it does not seem to have an issue.

I am also using Gradle 4.9

I am using xcore 1.3.1
gradle xtext plugin 1.0.17

we would need a complete reproducible example.
please use the latest version of the plugin 2.0.1
make sure the bunch of xtext and emf and platform + jdt versions is consistent

For reference and reproduction you could take https://github.com/itemis/itemis-blog/tree/xcore_gradle
This one was created with older Xtext & Gradle version. But you can fork this, update it to your setting and should experience the same issue. If so, create an issue in that repo and drop us a note.
