Hi,

We are developing oneM2M 3-layered security architecture following the oneM2M specifications. We are doing it by implementing oneM2M Security Common Service Functionalities (CSF) with all of its modules along with the implementation of other CSFs as given in Security Solutions and Functional Architecture docs. So far, we have successfully established communication between an AE and Remote CSE with Registration CSF and Security Association module both correctly implemented. At application layer we are doing MQTT protocol binding and the implementation of device management and repository CSF in parts is also under-process. We came across with couple of questions during development of aforementioned CSFs:

A possible scenario is when an AE entity needs to get the services from its local CSE entity while both entities belong to the same Application Service Node (ASN).

Question 1) Whether this AE-to-CSE communication will be carried out through Mca reference pointer or is there an alternative way. Particularly, how request/response queries will be resolved since the MQTT broker is independently hosted while in this case we only need communication between AE and CSE entities that are residing within same device (ASN)..

Question 2) how two CSFs within a single CSE will be communicating with each other?
