Hi,
When I try to copy a diagram by right clicking the canvas (without any elements being selected), selecting 'Edit/Copy' and paste it, then it turns out that the decorations are missing.
If I have some elements selected, and right clicking them, using copy paste, then edges in the pasted result show as being selected.
I attached 3 images:
- screen capture of original canvas
- result of copy paste diagram
- result of selecting two shapes, one edge and copy pasting them
Note that in the last one, the dashed line has become bold and blue.
I think that copy/paste should include the decorations not pasting everything in its 'unselected' representation.
Am I right, and if so, should I file a bug report?
Greetings,
Wilbert

Hi,
The "edit/copy" and "paste" only make a semantic copy. Then, the refresh is called and creates corresponding nodes and edges (and also decorators).
The rules for decorator are always "true" for the "copied" elements or not?
If you have a simple reproduction use case, you can create an issue with it. The analysis will be easier.

Hi,
OK it is clearer now ;)
You can use the "Export as image" action for that. There is a specific checkbox "Export decorations":
The default Copy/Paste into a "presentation or document" is currently the GMF native one and does not consider all the Sirius specific figures (especially the decorators).
