Good Afternoon all,

I am pretty new to BIRT and would definitely appreciate the help. Thank you in advance!

I am working with a report that is using two grouping sections.
-OrderNum (contains the Order Number only)
-WorkOrderNum (contains the Order Number and attached line item)

I am trying to suppress the duplicates however I am ending up with a lot of blank spaces inside the report detail area.

How do I suppress the duplicates as well as eliminate the space the duplicates they leave behind?

I am attaching an image of the results I am receiving.

Can you do it in the query rather than the report? It would be helpful to know how you are attempting to do it now.

I have attempted to eliminate the duplicates in the query. However I also need to pull in the BIN # on the right hand side of my images.

The BIN# for the children units are nested inside the Parent. So I cannot eliminate them from the query.

I do not know if it is possible to eliminate the blank spaces after suppressing the duplicates. This is providing a report that is from 15 pages to 120 pages. I need them to be as compressed as possible for production.
