Hi,

I very much appreciate the long awaited description https://wiki.eclipse.org/Oomph_Targlets on how to use targlets in target definitions.

As far as I can see, the targlet models are stored directly in the target definition.
Is it also possible to reference external targlet models from a target definition to be able to re-use them?

No, not directly. In the end, PDE's serialization of target locations requires that the full serialization be in a single resource. But targlets can also be created/induced with targlet tasks, and those can be composed from multiple Project setups from multiple resources...
