Hello,

Breakpoint works good for the files within workspace.
But when I try to open a file in dsl editor, which is outside workspace, breakpoint is not visible in ruler. However I can see breakpoint in breakpoints view.

Need help in this.
How can i make it visible in ruler for non workspace files.

JDT does not support this neither. nor do i know another tool that does support that.
maybe you should open a bug against platform debug

Hi,

I want to continue this discussion.
As I see C editor supports, breakpoints on outside workspace file. Breakpoint appears on the ruler and in breakpoints view also.

How can we refresh the vertical ruler present with DSl Editor?
Is there any way I can add annotation on vertical ruler?

Hi Mr. Christian Dietrich,

Any idea why breakpoint icon does not show on ruler for non project file? I mean i use file -> open to open model file from local system.

i cannot tell you why. you have to debug that.
the rulers are created there
