Hello!

I have a problem of remote debugging an application which run on a JVM
with different encoding (UTF-8) than is installed on my Eclipse
installation (MS932). I'd like to see the output this installation gives
within a proper encoding (different than my workbench's).

I know of one way within Run configuration's common tab (however due to a
bug with the software I am using I am unable to use it).

I'd like to ask if there is another way of changing the encoding of the
console only?

Regards,
Blazej

I cannot recall any other way, however you could try -d file.encoding.

Sorry my previously sent messaged, it got cut. Here is the complete
reply again:

So you can not change the console encoding anywhere else within the
Eclipse environment? (Got curious if this is kind of a bug or should be
an enhancement maybe?)

Blazej
