While adding force IDE for salesforce using developer.salesforce.com/media/force-ide/eclipse45 getting error message

SSLHandshakeException : unable to find valid certification to requetesd target

javax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException: sun.security.validator.ValidatorException: PKIX path building failed: sun.security.provider.certpath.SunCertPathBuilderException: unable to find valid certification path to requested target

From previous experience, this is likely and issue with and older JDK/JRE not having the most recent root certificates in it's certificate store. Which JDK/JRE are you using?
