The Explorer/Navigator in the Workbench IDE uses content types on resources to open registered editors.
How to define an E4 editor, so it can be opened by the Explorer/Navigator (e.g open the editor for a given resource/file).

Unfortunately i did not find any information on this. Using E4 views works perfectly.

thanks,
thomas

Unbelievable that eclipse/E4 gives no option to define a normal editor for its IDE.
Even views make problems if using the descriptor with toolbars. (toolbars can disapprear).
