Local Terminal ignores preferences (or how to source bash_profile)? [message #1785096] Mon, 09 April 2018 08:46
Eclipse UserFriend
I'm trying to open a local terminal with sourcing .bash_profile.
I tried to modify the preferences, adding arguments

"--init-file ~/.bash_profile"

or

"--login" / "-l"

but none of this has any effect.

Also, the default working directory is ignored.

I even changed the command "bin/bash" to "bin/echo" -- which did not change the behaviour of the terminal. Are the preferences read at all?

I'm using Terminal TM 4.1.0 on macOS.

Thanks,
Jens
