hi
seems that now using
partService.showPart(elementPart, PartState.ACTIVATE);
opens the part without focus, (i.e. the label is not highlighted as it is with 4.6.
and as a consequence, when you close this part, the focus is not given to a remaining part.

bug or feature ?
