Hi Kiran,

there is no functional part in ESH to connect to the Google IoT APIs until now. In case you want to know how to proceed in writing an extension to make the connection please provide some more details on what you have planed.

Thanks.
Henning

There is nothing available as far as I know. You would have to develop a binding which connects to the Google IoT API and syncs the data.

Hi Kiran,

so far we do not support other languages than Java for extensions.

Hi,

We have started with understanding below docs with Java api (https://cloud.google.com/iot/docs/how-tos/devices#iot-core-create-registry-java).

We are planning to run each java code independently.

Do we need to write binding to integrate all pieces together ?

How to implement google auth so that user can login and we can set permission for him to send data to his own registry or device for authentication and authorization (https://cloud.google.com/iot/docs/how-tos/iam#iot-core-get-config-java) ?

Any ideas how to implement ?

We will share our findings as and when we progress.

Regards,
Kiran.
