I've been using Papyrus on and off for embedded software for a few years now (C++ ).
I'm on 3.2 (ubuntu hosted eclipse), mid project so a bit hesitant about updating at the moment.

Sequence diagrams have always been a bit flaky so for this project I have used activity diagrams. They suit my needs better as they capture the logic of the behaviour, not just the order.

I must say that , after a bit of experimentation and reading the UML specification, they work brilliantly. The practical integration between activities, behaviours and functional implementation in the class works just as you would expect it to.

Hats off to you guys.

Vincent

Hi Vincent,
with the Eclipse based Papyrus you can simply back up your current state of the installation directories and the workspaces. Then perform update and test. If something does not work as intended for you, simply roll back.
