[GEF 3] Connection Mouse Cursor Linux [message #1783736] Fri, 16 March 2018 08:43

Because of different reasons I'm still stuck with a medium large GEF 3 application. As the dark theme is getting more popular I noticed that while most of our GEF 3 editors adapt very well to a dark theme the connection mouse cursors under Linux look pretty awkward. The main problem is that the transparent part of the cursor is white and the cursor's drawing itself is transparent. I just noticed the same happens under the normal theme but there you are not noticing it well.

My question would be how hard would it be to provide own mousecursors in my GEF based application or is worth the effort in fixing this in the GEF3 code?
