Hello,

I am reading a book on C++ and it has examples. I am only on Ch. 2 but the book is interesting.

I thought I could use this Eclipse CDT for C/C++ developers w/ ease. I have been proven wrong. I saw the info. on the tutorials website. I thought they were interesting but I did not see a section for making my current software work.

I am receiving bug after bug. I will leave some photos of the issue soon.

Seth

Hello,

For an update:

I am using Win 10 and Eclipse Oxygen 4.7.2. I have installed CygWin and the libraries I needed to set up for makefiles, gdb, and gcc.

Seth

P.S. I got to the CygWin page where I select packages b/c I have a new error when applying the info. from http://help.eclipse.org/oxygen/index.jsp?nav=%2F0. The error is different but it is b/c I do not have the right "make" installed, presumably. Do you know which "make" I need to install on CygWin?

Hello...

I finished my first program and I found make in the system, i.e. the correct "make" to use. Forget the replies. Thank you for anyone who had read my garbled sum.

Seth

P.S. Thank you again.
