Hi,

It seems that Requirement is an imported element. This probably means that it is read-only, thus you can't add a new association on that element (Although it might be possible to actually create that association, if both members ends are "owned by association". But I don't think you can create such an association from the Profile Diagram)

You may try to make the Requirement explicitly writable (On the Requirement stereotype: right click > Enable write), then create the association.

Cheers,
Camille

Hi I remark that you create a new profile.
You want to specialize Requirement and it links.
Why do you want to add an association between requirement and metaClass?

When you add an association between Requirement and a metclass you modify these elements by adding association ends in Requirement or Metaclass. You cannot modify SYML profile or metamodel of UML.

So if you want ot add a relation of Requirement to a metaclass. Create a specialization of Requirement and link it to the metaclass.
