Editing posibility of interactive template lost when Eclipse loses focus [message #333503]

When I am editing an interactive template and switch to other app when I
get back to Eclipse I am no longer able to tab through cursor stops - it
harms template usability severly. Is this a known bug? I looked through
bugzilla and couldn't find anything relevant. Eclipse 3.4.1, Windows XP,
x86.

Am I the only one experiencing this bug? I went through Eclipse's bugzilla
once again and couldn't find any report about this wrong behavior. I want
to file a bug report, but first want to be sure it is indeed a bug.

This is by design as the linked position update manager often also shows
hints which would then be on top of the app you switched to.

I understand and respect decision to make it a feature, but I have to say
Eclipse is unique in this regard. Is the problem you described SWT-related
or is it normal behavior on all platforms?
