I am using the combo box cell editor, and if a cell is only partially displayed in the viewport and the combo box cell editor is activated, the drop down menu displays where the bottom of the cell would be, outside of the viewport region. How would I go about changing where the drop down menu is displayed in this case?

Probably you need to fix the NatCombo. By default the dropdown is shown at the bottom of the cell. Not sure where it should be in your case.
