L2 cache coordination in Wildfly [message #1777257] Mon, 27 November 2017 11:17

Currently Eclipselink has some options for cache coordination: jms, rmi and now even jgroups.

Since Wildfly is leveraging jgroups module for cluster comunication and caches replication, I was wondering if someone has ported EclipseLink jgroups extension to work seemllessly in wildfly. Ideally a channel is configured in one of the AS profiles (standalone-ha.xml or standalone-full-ha.xml), and can be injected from JNDI I reckon.

Another question: does L2 cache coordination works evicting the entries in the others caches, or just replicates the data?
