I want to clone git, create work space, import project, build and run using single plugin. Right now i am git clone the project, import the project in specific workspace and running the project . I am doing above steps manually. I would automate the above process using a plugin. I will run the plugin from command line with git URL and workspace as input to the plugin. Then plugin would perform above operation.

I am not sure where to start from.Could you please guide me in this perspective?

With Oomph's Eclipse installer you can do all this by authoring a Project setup: https://wiki.eclipse.org/Eclipse_Oomph_Authoring
