Thanks for the feedback guys.
Any suggestions on documentation? And Is Tomcat the preferred web server?
I am interested in possibly using it for business data collection and integrating BIRT for reporting.
Thanks again.
Dan

Hi Dan,
we use Scout since 2015. We are mainly on consulting projects but have developed a core application in Scout and finished two use case driven solutions for our customers (banks). In both use cases we manage data, run calculations on the DB (and in the background via python) and generate reports.
In my experience, Scout runs very stable and the framework is mature, we made use of the scout tutorials (which were now replaced by the two documents mentioned by Benjamin) to get used to the framework. In the Scout-Widget application and the Contacts Demo is a lot of open source code. In summary we were able to solve the customers use cases with a small team and QA.
If you need help (we developed a LDAP connector and other stuff ourselves), feel free to ask.
Best,
David
