Hi,

Could anyone help me about the attached error?

The line of the code that caused the error is:
IEditorInput input = editor.getEditorInput();

The WorkbenchUtil.java file:

This is what debuggers are for. I imagine a page with no open editors won't have an active editor either.

My program is run well via eol configuration. but via eol standalone, it has the error. I debug it but I cannot detect what is the difference between those.
I provided the minimal example and put it in https://www.eclipse.org/forums/index.php?t=msg&th=1088595&goto=1775030&#msg_1775030, but I cannot get the answer.
