Context Menu from a Column Header in a TreeViewer?? [message #332864] Tue, 11 November 2008 16:26 Go to next message

Hi All,

I have a TreeViewer with a few TreeColumns.

I was wondering, is it possible to provide a context menu from the Column
headers?
For example, if the user does a right mouse click on a header is it possible
to provide a
popup context menu, identical to what happens if you do it in Windows
Explorer (allows you
to select the columns you want to view and the ones you want left hidden) =>
which is
exactly what I want to do in my app :-)

I read that the TreeViewer does not allow context menus on a column header
(here:
http://dev.eclipse.org/newslists/news.eclipse.platform.swt/m sg38040.html)

Any feedback would be cool.
