Support EFS in Xtext [message #1771644] Tue, 29 August 2017 02:43 Go to next message

Hi,

In one of 2009 mail in this forum, it was mentioned that in the future release of Xtext, EFS filepath format will be supported. But as of now i have not been able to see this.

https://www.eclipse.org/forums/index.php?t=msg&th=175476&goto=559081&#msg_559081

Right now, i have a scenario where we use efs file paths to open a file on a remote machine. Now we would like to open this file using an Xtext editor. However this is not working as of now. I do not want to download the file locally in the workspace and then use the file as this will create conflicts between the files.

Can we have this support soon?

Regards,
Anitha

Is there a way we could request this feature to be supported soon?
