Reference ecore model from another ecore model [message #1771410] Thu, 24 August 2017 15:30 Go to next message

Hello,
I am trying to reference ecore model B from ecore model A in order to be able to use classes from model B in model A.

I have been following this tutorial:
https://stackoverflow.com/questions/9384813/can-i-reuse-ecore-models-by-importing-them-into-other-models

But it is not working. Are there any further step to this than mentioned in the above tutorial?

What isn't working? Just right-click anywhere in the Ecore Editor and select Load Resource..., find your 'other' ecore model and you'll be able to use its elements.

Okay then maybe it is because i dont know how to test properly. Can you give me just a few pointers as to how I check if I can reference the other model?
