Hello *,

http://docs.openhab.org/developers/development/ide.html#installation directed me to the following site:

http://www.eclipse.org/downloads/download.php?file=/oomph/products/eclipse-inst-linux64.tar.gz

I downloaded the tar ball and wanted to check its integrity. I thus clicked the SHA-512 link on this page. It showed:

f91c6741821d82e9103a68d0620fa141fdd9889f1925b75e91777befd01e57f82d8897f713f1f5de2a6f60e2690bdc7527561d2155f67949264316ff205b49e5 eclipse-inst-linux64.tar.gz

However, the SHA-512 locally on my workstation is:

c9031b829ea36d30177c88a35d4748b06eec976eb2303b6b8ed79a46624b21101cbbf0877099ed9bd09e05dba69ca9d31316a12d36340c5077684309149d2cc0 eclipse-inst-linux64.tar.gz

I downloaded from multiple download sites and it is always the same -- but different from the one shown before.

Is there an issue with the web-site? Or does someone target me? For now, I won't continue with the tar ball, of course.

Best regards, Marco :-)

Just wanted to add: I just downloaded it again -- but this time using a shell on a server on a different continent. The SHA-512 there is the same as the one locally here on my workstation. It thus looks pretty much like your web-site shows a wrong hash.

This appears to be a server problem so I opened https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=520930
