Why won't a source code be run? [message #1770229]

Not an Eclipse-related question. So it may please be ignored
Since I have an older version of Java SDK I downloaded the source code of PrintStream.java source code from the Open Java SDK Source with the intent to read the file in Eclipse.
I followed the usual method of creating a project and the file PrintStream.java. But I had these errors: errors.txt
Why is a source code displaying errors? Is it because it is missing the package java.io ? Now how do I access this package?
