To whom it may concern,

Now, I want to implement a service (not a GUI), which can auto merge two instance model into one, these two model is based on the same meta-model.

Is there any detail sample/tutorial to introduce how to write a diff/merge service, as detail as possible.

I have already find a simple sample to study, but I am not sure is it a possible to implement a auto-merge tool with EMF diff/merge, triggered by a command?

Hi,

About how to implement an automatic diff/merge: you may have a look at: https://wiki.eclipse.org/EMF_DiffMerge/Programmatic_Usage, skipping the sections about the GUI of course.
About how to run it from a command line: you need to call the automatic diff/merge from within a "headless Eclipse Application". You may google this topic or have a look for example at:
