When I go in Eclipse menu
help->Software Updates->Manage configuration
then there is no single entry for WTP (because WTP consists of several sub-features).
How can I find out otherwise which latest WTP version is currently installed?

What's the largest feature version? If you see 2.x, you have WTP 2.x; if
you see 3.x, you have 3.x. :)

The other way to know is that if you're running Eclipse 3.4 (Ganymede),
you most likely have WTP 3.0.x

http://www.eclipse.org/downloads/packages/eclipse-ide-java-e e-developers/ganymedesr1
(includes Eclipse 3.4.1 and WTP 3.0.2)
