Hi,

is there a way to change the default label provider of the Model Explorer?

Currently the model explorer shows for EObjects their EClass and the id. Is it possible to change this behavior? For example show the element's name instead of its id?

Best regards,
Amine

Hello

I guess you are talking about the display name of the nodes representing the semantic elements.
In the model explorer, Sirius uses the LabelProvider interface whose implementations are usually defined in the EMF edit plug-in of your meta model (generated by EMF)
In your the .genmodel file of your meta model, check the Edit/Label feature field in Property view for your EClass

regards
Laurent
